Shipping estimates can be found by putting an item(s) in your shopping cart and clicking "estimate shipping". You do not have to be logged in to receive these shipping estimates.
We ship via UPS ground* / insured to location in the U.S. and via USPS Air Parcel Post / insured to areas outside the U.S.. We strive to get as close to actual shipping costs as possible and, generally speaking, we take a small loss at the end of the year.
Any errors in your submitted shipping address may result in a UPS address correction charge (currently $10.00 but subject to change). This is an actual charge to us and you will be responsible for its payment. We will contact you prior to charging or invoicing to make certain it is not a UPS mistake. Generally speaking most of our packages ship within 2 days of receiving an order and many times within 1 day.
Shipping procedures and how we keep you informed about your order:
Shipping does depend on when your order arrives and also please keep in mind that there is no UPS shipping Saturdays or Sundays.
Shipping may be delayed if your order has issues for what ever reason and this includes issues with address information. Some orders require special authorization.
Your account will be updated along the way and you will receive an email notification as well.
The Account Status notifications are as follows:
"Awaiting Fulfillment" - this denotes that the item(s) is being pulled from our warehouse and then forwarded to shipping for packing.
"Awaiting Shipping" - this denotes that your item(s) has been pulled and packed and is ready to be shipped.
"Shipped" - this is the status that occurs when you shipping notice and tracking number is sent. Please note that shipping notices and tracking numbers do not necessarily get posted right away but always the day they are shipped. Also remember that your tracking information may be sparse since the information may not have been entered into the UPS system yet or it may simply note that it was picked up.
There are other status notices but these are the ones most customers will see during the ordering process. Other statuses should be self explanatory but are also usually followed up or preceded by an email explanation.
* Please note: UPS rarely delivers to P.O. box addresses so if your address includes a P.O. box then please make certain you can receive UPS deliveries. Returned packages will require the return shipping charges plus re-shipping charges to redeliver the package and these will be your responsibility.
