All you need to do is to price your new modern lenses to see that you
can usually get much more style, and often better construction, for a
third of the price or less.
Sunglasses manufactures of today are always going for that retro look,
where do you think they get them from? Funny thing is that they price
them higher than the originals and then ruin the look by slapping their
logo all over them. Don't be fooled.
Many people don't realize
that you can take any frame to your optometrist for new lenses or to
fit them like they would any pair they sell. If they feign fragility
of the frame itself then find a new optometrist, it's not generally
true.
